Row Wing Drop-In Unit

The Row Wing drop-in unit (shown at right in use in a Kit Boat) can be used for canoes, some commercially available recreational rowing shells, skiffs, open water rowing boats, dinghies, and small sail boats.

The Gunnel Clamp Mounting Kit is the least intrusive method of mounting your unit. Also when the rigging unit is installed it can substitute as a replacement thwart (i.e., in the case of a canoe).

The key features of the Row Wing Drop-In Unit is you can recycle your existing canoe into a much faster and more stable rowing shell. This is an ideal way to enter the sport. All that is needed is a set of Sculls and a canoe. You can mount it at various positions in your canoe to adjust for the trim of the boat to allow for a passenger or gear storage.
